“I work at a charming Inn/B&B in southern Vermont. I travel up Vermont Route 30N at 11 p.m. 5 nights per week. There are 10 farms with hundreds of acres of corn fields between my work and home. There are hundreds of deer that forage along side the road for that 20-mile stretch. I just ordered 2 of your whistles, one for me and one for my wife. I have hit a total of 11 deer in the past 5 years. She has hit 3 deer in the last 10 years. We have spent thousands of dollars in repairs to our automobiles. I don't know why I waited so long to buy your product. If you live in Vermont, your product is the first thing you should get when you buy a car. “I can't wait to receive the Deer Whistle I recently purchased for my husband. Two weeks ago, he was on his way home from work at 1:00 a.m. His only route is a highway with no street lights that pretty much runs through the desert. He was doing the speed limit of 65 mph, and with no advanced warning, a black cow walked onto the highway. My husband hit the cow doing 65 mph. He said there was literally no reaction time. Had the cow been 2 more feet onto the highway, it would've come straight up the hood into the windshield. I don't even like to think how this story would've ended had that happened. As it happened, my husband was very lucky that his 'only' injury was a facial laceration from the side view mirror hitting him in the cheek as it broke through the drivers window. His car is still in the body shop and has just under $8,000 damage. Since then, my husband gets the sweats and shakes every night when he drives home. He doesn't know I've ordered the Deer Whistle. I'm waiting until it arrives and I'll give it to him to put on his car when he gets it back, and hopefully, it will help ease 'some' of his anxiety on his drives home from work. “We have used the Living Products Deer Whistle for at least 6 years, and we have seen the amazing results as we drive by the deer as they stand along side of the road and wait for us to pass by. However I want to tell you of this last experience we had during a 587-mile trip.

Our day began approximately 2 a.m. in the morning, leaving that early so we would beat the rush hour traffic through the larger cities and to have an opportunity to rest a few hours before our meetings began. As usual, this is the time of year that the deer are out for mating season. As we travel along East bound 50 highway we witnessed several deer just waiting for us to pass. This gives us a total assurance that the Living Products are doing their job keeping us safe.

On our return trip home again we are traveling after dark about 9:30 p.m. traveling west bound on 36 highway as we topped the hill and began the level pavement was when we saw 3 large deer running from the east bound 2 lanes coming to our side of the highway.

My husband immediately began to say " Oh my God they are going to get us this time." I said "No stay firm they will stop—we have the whistles"

Just like an animated cartoon, they come across the 2 lanes of east bound traffic and across the median grassy area on to the west bound fast lane of traffic, just as if they put on their brakes. Their hoofs hit the pavement, and 2 of them got stopped in their tracks; however, the third one when he hit the pavement his back feet slid out from under him and as he continued to skid out of control right across the road in front of us, applying the brakes, he got to the edge of the road he stood up and not being able to swerve to the left because the other 2 deer were standing there we held the car straight and as the animated deer stood upright our front right fender hit his right hip.

We maintained control of the van and no one was injured. The deer continued running into the farmers field as he jumped the fence. While the other 2 stood waiting for us to move out of their way.

“I started using your whistle a year ago, and since then, I have noticed that not only deer but most everything gets off the road, possum, racoon, even birds, as I approach. I am on a regional campaign to get people to try them. Your product is so inexpensive and effective that skeptics will try it. “I would like to see one of your deer whistle on every vehicle in the United States. I have been trying to educate drivers to watch for wildlife both for the life of the animal and to prevent accidents and damage to the vehicles since 1972 when I began writing. True I have been a hunter all my life, but we hunters use the animal for meat, we don't leave it laying out along the road, where it serves no purpose. This whistle causes all animals not just deer to leave the roadway. It's only natural for animals to be on the roadways. The roadways are laid upon millions of animal trails, and the animals are following instincts bred in them; they have no reason to leave the trail and have no way of knowing their lives are in danger. They have no reasoning factor like we humans, well some of us. I am sending letters to animal organizations with information for them to contact your company to help save the lives of the animals in the roadway and prevent deadly accidents for the drivers of all private vehicles, motorcycles, and trucks.”

“We installed your deer whistles on our 2003 Corolla (practically invisible) and just the other night, 2 large deer came through the ditch and approached the road. We were about 100 feet away when we saw them. The first deer took off across the road. The second deer looked at our car, stopped at the edge of the road and then walked across in front of our car. “I have what the doctor calls traumatic amnesia, so I don't remember anything from the accident. However, the state patrol and other witnesses have filled me in. Friday, Dec 14, was a wet and foggy morning. As I was traveling down Center Hill Church Rd., a large running deer plowed into my car hitting the side panel behind the driver seat. This caused my car to go out of control, crossing the left lane, down an embankment, and slamming into a tree on 2 wheels. The tree actually made contact with my head and face! The car's roof was crushed down to the head rests in the front pinning me in. After the "jaws of life" peeled the car top back, it had been too foggy for the life flight helicopters to take off to transport me, so an ambulance took me to a hospital farther away that had a better trauma unit. I had sustained no injuries below my chest and no spine or neck trauma! I did have a concussion and severe bruising to the left side of my head and shoulders, fractured left acromion and separated ligaments of my left and right shoulders, cut tendons in my left index finger, and over 100 stitches to the left side of my face, neck, and arm. I survived and God is speedily healing me, but how I wish I had deer whistles on my car then like I do now!”

Last Friday night, about 2:30 am, driving my pickup (equipped with your whistle), coming home from the Giants game, the longest 9 inning game in Major League history, 2 deer (in 2 separate occasions) stopped completely, and as I slowed, they walked off the road. I recently purchased a new Jeep. Saturday morning I thought, why hadn't my insurance agent given me a new whistle for my jeep. A little PO'ed. I was going to give her a mellow piece of my mind and get a whistle for my new jeep. Well on my way to work, yep, I hit a deer, slowly thank god and minimal damage to my 1,100-mile Jeep.
